Store Manager | Gainesville, FL
Primary Role
The General Manager leads the rental store and assigned territory by driving sales growth, operational excellence, and profitability. This role is accountable for branch-level P&L performance, ensuring alignment with company strategy while building a high-performance culture centered on safety, revenue and operational accountability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Market Growth
- Lead, coach, and develop sales teams to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion strategies to maximize long-term growth.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to execute sales strategies and competitive positioning.
- Set clear sales goals, track performance, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Actively participate in key customer relationships and major contract negotiations.
Operational Leadership & Excellence
- Oversee daily branch operations with a focus on efficiency, fleet utilization, service quality, and safety.
- Partner with the VP of Operations to improve processes, productivity, and cost management.
- Ensure equipment availability, readiness, and delivery meet customer expectations.
- Champion compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and operational best practices.
- Conduct quarterly operational and market reviews to maintain competitiveness.
Financial Performance
- Hold full P&L responsibility for branch performance.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, pricing, and expense control measures.
- Drive profitability through disciplined revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Oversee accounts receivable and collections to protect company assets and cash flow.
People & Culture
- Hire, train, and retain high-performing sales, service, and operations staff.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, professional development, and high performance.
- Provide coaching and leadership to motivate employees to exceed expectations.
- Create and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring all staff follow best practices and compliance standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the President, VP of Sales, and VP of Operations to align on strategy and execution.
- Act as the link between local branch operations and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with other GMs to share best practices and enhance overall organizational performance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Total branch revenue and profitability aligned with P&L goals.
- Sales team performance: revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Operational efficiency: fleet utilization, Service, logistics, and compliance.
- Employee engagement and development: staff retention and performance.
- Safety compliance: zero preventable safety incidents.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 5–10 years of leadership experience in equipment rental, sales, or operations with proven P&L responsibility.
- Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and delivering sustained revenue growth.
- Strong operational management and financial acumen.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.
- Energetic, adaptable, and result-driven leader with the ability to thrive in competitive markets.

Shop Mechanic | Tallahassee, FL
Description
Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned heavy construction and/or agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Shop Foreman or senior technicians.
Job Duties
- Performs basic diagnostics and reports on construction and/or agricultural equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
- Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
- Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and Competitive products.
- Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
- Accounts for all time in the time keeping systems and for all material used in performing assigned duties.
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience performing service repairs on heavy construction and/or agricultural equipment
- Ability to perform basic and advanced repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual Procedures
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy construction and/or agricultural equipment.
- Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly
- Basic Service Technician certification preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Fork lift license preferred

Rental Account Manager (RAM) - Outside Sales | Quitman, GA
Rental Account Manager (RAM) – Outside Sales
Department: Sales
Reports To: VP of Sales & General Manager (GM)
Primary Role
The Rental Account Manager drives rental revenue growth through territory management, jobsite penetration, and customer acquisition. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, expanding market share, and collaborating with the branch team to deliver excellent service while maintaining a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Acquisition
- Schedule will be a mix between time in the field (mainly) and in the office.
- Prospect and develop new accounts within assigned territory.
- Expand relationships with existing customers to increase rental opportunities.
- Conduct regular job site visits, prescheduled office visits, and cold calls.
- Present rental, trucking, and equipment sales solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Submit customer deals to the Rental Coordinator (RC) for processing.
- Including: Rates, P&D, site POC contact information, etc.
Territory & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and opportunities in CRM.
- Track and pursue leads provided by RCs, GMs, and inbound inquiries.
- Monitor and manage pipeline opportunities through all sales stages.
- Ensure revenue targets and customer acquisition goals are consistently achieved.
Customer Engagement & Retention
- Build strong, long-term relationships with contractors and project managers.
- Conduct follow-up visits to ensure customer satisfaction and introduce new solutions.
- Resolve issues quickly by collaborating with the branch and operations teams.
- Position the company as a trusted partner for rental, trucking, and equipment needs.
Collaboration & Branch Alignment
- Work closely with Rental Coordinators to ensure accurate contracts and scheduling.
- Partner with the GM to align sales efforts with branch operations and inventory.
- Support branch-wide initiatives to improve customer experience and revenue growth.
- Participate in weekly one-on-one reviews with the VP of Sales to assess progress.
Safety & Compliance
- Promote and model a safety-first culture during all jobsite visits and customer interactions.
- Ensure that equipment recommended and rented is safe, compliant, and fit for use.
- Educate customers on safe rental practices and company safety standards.
- Immediately report any safety concerns, hazards, or incidents encountered in the field.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- New account/customer acquisition.
- Daily CRM activity logged and up to date.
- Revenue targets consistently met or exceeded.
- Customer retention and satisfaction in assigned territory.
- Safety compliance during field activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in equipment rental, construction, or industrial services.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently in the field.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to promoting and maintaining a safety culture in all interactions.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel within assigned territory.
