Job Duties:

• Represents the company for the sale of our product line to customers
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers
• Grow assigned territory rental revenue
• Control rental fleet by focusing on utilization and future forecast of equipment
• Maintain current knowledge of wholesale used equipment values
• Regularly travel and interact with customers in designated territory
• May haul compact equipment

Job Requirements:

• 2-4 years in agricultural or construction equipment sales/rental experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Must be energetic and a self-starter
• Ability to cold-call customers and grow market share in new markets
• Bachelor’s degree in business field preferred
• Ability to analyze/interpret/run basic sales report
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned heavy construction and/or agricultural and turf equipment.  May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Shop Foreman or senior technicians.

Job Duties

• Performs basic diagnostics and reports on construction and/or agricultural equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
• Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and Competitive products.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Accounts for all time in the time keeping systems and for all material used in performing assigned duties.
• All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of experience performing service repairs on heavy construction and/or agricultural equipment
• Ability to perform basic and advanced repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual Procedures
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy construction and/or agricultural equipment.
• Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly
• Basic Service Technician certification preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Fork lift license preferred

Job Description:

Purpose: Responsible for rental store and territory so that they are operated in an effective, profitable, and professional manner.

Job Duties:

• Develop business strategies to increase market share, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
• Meet goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
• Manage internal and external communications for rental equipment and attachments
• Track and reserve rental equipment and attachments needed to fill rental orders
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service and management of rental operational issues and order maintenance.
• Manage rental accounts receivable collection.
• Execute location HR and administrative responsibilities.
• Ensure adherence to company policy and standards
• Additional duties as may be needed
